Four Quotes on Love

Four Quotes on Love
Quote 1: “We’re born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone.”
-Orson Welles

This quote has meaning, and it could be interpreted differently, or thought of to be untrue, but I believe it is true, because we all have those little secrets and hidden thoughts that set us apart from others.

Quote 2: “For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.”
-Judy Garland
I think this is simply romance at its best. It means love runs deeper than just your outside and body. Your hearts and souls speak, showing you that you feel for this other person, that they are the one you want to be with forever.

Quote 3: “Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is a war; Love is growing up.”
-James A. Baldwin
This quote seems to have a lot of meaning behind it. I think it means being in love isn’t easy. You will fight, maybe even hate at times, the smallest things may get to you, but eventually, you will realize it doesn’t bother you anymore, and that is the moment in which you’ve grown up.

Quote 4: “All love shifts and changes. I don’t know if you can be wholeheartedly in love all the time.”
-Julie Andrews
This is a quote I agree strongly with. There can be times you get irritated at the person. You could fall out of love. You could hate one day, love the next, then return to hatred. Love does not last forever, and some people may think they are in love, but it is truly hard to love at times.
